The SimpliVity team was in Palm Beach this week as the Gold Sponsor of the South Florida VMware User Group (VMUG) Conference. This was the first of many VMUG Conferences that we will sponsor this year, and for good reason—(click here for the full list). These are special events that bring together the user community that is shaping IT today—the VMware and infrastructure teams. We love the opportunity to engage directly with these professionals to better understand their environments, their challenges, and their various initiatives. That’s why we are hitting the road in 2013 to meet and engage with as many folks in the VMware User community as possible.
We are increasingly sensing that the love is mutual! In Florida we hosted over 130 visitors to our booth, where we were continuously demonstrating OmniCube—the market’s only globally-federated, hyperconverged IT infrastructure platform. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive as the VMUG attendees we spoke with could see the direct, tangible benefit that OmniCube can make in their infrastructure environments. We were pleasantly surprised by the energy and enthusiasm for the product, and were happy to be invited to discuss OmniCube further with several of our guests.
And, as we like to do, we enjoyed running a raffle for an exotic sports car for a day. Congratulations to Paul, our winner, who will enjoy a Ferrari or Lamborghini for a fun day in sunny Florida soon! Paul, welcome to the SimpliVity Winner’s Circle! At each VMUG this year, we will run a similar raffle with a similar prize!
To those that were able to stop by and meet us, thank you very much for attending. And for those that were not lucky enough to be in sunny Palm Beach last week, come see us at one of these upcoming VMUG events. If you can’t make one of the VMUG’s listed, click here to schedule a meeting with one of our Solutions Architects who will give you a deep dive and live product demo of OmniCube.
The Palm Beach VMUG was a great event, and a great way to kick off the spring season (a season associated with renewal!). Next stop: California, as we sponsor the San Diego VMUG User conference on April 30, and the Silicon Valley VMUG the very next day (5/1). We look forward to continuing the momentum that began this week!
