Lots to talk about after an exciting week at VMware Partner Exchange 2015 conference last week.
SimpliVity kicked things off (pun intended) with a half-day boot camp for our partners, as well as a very fun Super Bowl party (my Massachusetts-based colleagues will want me to show some enthusiasm about the Patriots’ win). Thank you to all who came out to make these two events so VERY successful. It’s amazing to have so many excited and dedicated partners.
We were also very excited to help support the VCDX candidates who were defending last week with lunch and a small “survival kit” gift. We hope you all did well!
As expected, VMware announced vSphere 6, the latest version of the world-leading virtual infrastructure operating system. There are many great vSphere 6 write-ups across the web encompassing both high level listings and deeper level details SimpliVity has committed to supporting vSphere 6 within 90 days of GA.
SimpliVity also announced our upcoming support for Intel’s new Haswell processors and Cisco M4 servers. Look for more information on our expanded platforms soon.
Finally, we’d also like to thank all the visitors to our booth and session at #VMwarePEX. Our team had so many great conversations about our hyperconverged infrastructure solution, and the “built-in, not bolted-on” accelerated data efficiencies that make the SimpliVity OmniStack family such a unique benefit to our customers.
SimpliVity is fully committed to delivering our products 100% through channel partners, so events like VMware Partner Exchange are very important to us. We felt it was a great success and congratulate VMware on another stellar event!
