SimpliVity has been 100 percent dedicated to the channel since Day One. This go-to-market strategy is core to our mission, and our network of incredible channel partners, who represent the best in business, allow us to make this strategy a reality. Thanks to SimpliVity’s dedication and commitment to the channel, George Hope, our VP of Global Channel Sales, has been named on CRN’s exclusive list of Channel Chiefs for the second consecutive year.
Each year, CRN honors an elite group of IT channel leaders who drive the channel agenda and partnerships. Each channel chief honoree is selected by CRN’s editorial staff on the basis of their professional achievements, standing in the industry, dedication to the channel partner community and strategies for driving future growth and innovation. Of the more than 100 honorees, only 50 – including George Hope – were included in this year’s Most Influential list.
George has been recognized for his outstanding achievements in driving SimpliVity growth and revenue, and his achievements within the channel industry as a whole. George tremendously impacted the surge in demand for our hyperconverged infrastructure solutions through 2015, highlighted by a nearly 200 percent year-over-year increase in the number of partners selling SimpliVity products in more than 68 countries, and expanding our customer base by more than 2.5x. George also demonstrated SimpliVity’s dedication to the channel and partnerships by leading the charge of:
- The expansion of our PartnerAdvantage program
- The addition of both the new Cloud Service Provider Program and Technology Alliance Program
- The development of new, advanced training for channel partners
Due to our dedication to the channel – a key factor of SimpliVity’s mission and essential to our foundation – we have been honored with more than a dozen CRN awards over the past year, including being named to the 2015 Top 100 Executives (in which George Hope and CEO Doron Kempel were included), 2015 Emerging Vendors, 2015 Virtualization 50 and more.
The 2016 CRN Channel Chiefs list, including the 50 Most Influential Channel Chiefs, is featured in the February 2016 issue of CRN and online.
