It’s time again to vote for this year’s VMworld sessions and SimpliVity has a bunch of sessions proposed for the 2016 event. We have ten partners and customers vying to tell you about their experiences with hyperconvergence and we couldn’t be more excited to hear them share their enthusiasm.
On a personal level, I am excited to have the opportunity to discuss and compare SimpliVity’s hyperconverged solution with some of the other hyperconverged offerings in the market. As the hyperconverged infrastructure market becomes more and more crowded, potential customers can be left wondering which solutions offer the best fit for their company. On the one hand, the increase in hyperconverged vendors leaves customers with more options and a better understanding of the importance of hyperconvergence. On the other hand, the increase in vendors can lead to a lot of “noise” and can make it difficult for customers to actually learn the truth about what each vendor offers and how each solution differs.
To filter out some of the the noise, I will be participating on a panel of hyperconverged infrastructure experts. Joining me on the panel is Duncan Epping, Chief Technologist at VMware, and Steven Poitras, Solutions Architect and Technology Evangelist at Nutanix. Moderated by Wikibon’s Stu Miniman, the panel will review the offerings from SimpliVity, VMware, and Nutanix to give those in attendance an honest and open view of today’s leading hyperconverged infrastructure solutions and what makes each one unique.
The panel will discuss what constitutes hyperconvergence in the converged infrastructure landscape, what business and technical benefits hyperconvergence offers, the common use cases organizations attempt to target with hyperconvergence, and how to avoid traps that could derail hyperconvergence implementation. The audience will also pose questions to the panel which we will discuss.
So, if you’re interested in learning more about the leading hyperconvergence solutions, vote for the Deep Dive Review of Solutions panel, VMworld session 7765.
