The Gartner Data Center, Infrastructure and Operations Management Summit is fast approaching in London, lasting from November 28 to November 29, and we couldn’t be more excited to attend with our customers and partners.
Boris Becker, the world-renowned tennis legend, businessman, commentator, and coach, is this year’s keynote speaker at the event. Becker was the youngest to ever win the Wimbledon Championships, and at the London Gartner Data Center Summit will take the audience through his journey of success, delivering new perspectives of how infrastructure and operations leaders and practitioners can be:
- Enablers: Be open to new methodologies and practices.
- Influencers: Be a collaborative worker and create a success culture within a team – To be goal focused and objective driven.
- Transformer: Be the leader of transformation and change.
Becker won a total of 49 titles, including six grand slams and Olympic medals, aiding the evolution of tennis as a national sport in his home country of Germany. In 2014, Becker started as Novak Djokovic’s head coach, and planned to further advance the Serbian star’s achievements. Never one to disappoint, Becker’s efforts paid off and Djokovic was crowned as Men’s Single Champion of Wimbledon 2014.
Like Becker and his stream of success as a champion and coach, SimpliVity also experienced its share of accomplishments. SimpliVity was listed as a Leader in the 2016 Magic Quadrant and the Forrester Wave. In addition, SimpliVity was named a TSIA STAR Award winner for Best Practices in the Delivery of Customer Success & Support, the highest-rated hyperconverged vendor in the CRN Annual Report Card, and a 2016 CNBC Disruptor 50. And while new customers and partners flocking to SimpliVity, driving change is sometimes difficult, especially if you are about to introduce a new disruptive technology, but it is worth it and in the end only the IT leaders can drive this change.
